We recommend a course of 4 clinic-based treatment sessions, carried out at regular intervals, along with the continued regular use of the home care products to counter your specific concern.
Pigmentation is a very general term
that describes a number of different situations where there is excessive production of the natural pigment known as melanin by the skin. Melanin has a brown colour and is responsible for protecting the deep layers of the skin against damaging light rays from the sun known as ultraviolet radiation (UV or UVR). Because of its colour, it is what gives our skin its overall tone.

What is Pigmentation?
When our skin is exposed to UV light from the sun, the melanocyte cells respond by producing more melanin and making the skin darker. They also respond to certain hormones in the body such as oestrogen, progesterone, cortisol, and thyroid hormones.
Pigmentation changes can, therefore, happen because of a number of different issues, such as sun exposure, inflammation or hormone-related melasma.
Successful treatment of hyperpigmentation depends on the underlying cause and diagnosis and your individual skin type or skin tone.

Treatments For Pigmentation
01 Venus Versa IPL
Venus Versa Intense-Pulsed-Light Therapy reduces the appearance of age spots, sun damage, rosacea and hyperpigmentation, restoring a clear complexion and rejuvenated skin tone.
The treatment is very effective in reducing and removing hyperpigmentation and vascular lesions in the skin, from redness and spider veins to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (for example, post-acne) and sun damage pigmentation. This popular anti-ageing treatment is a quick treatment with visible results after the first 1 to 2 sessions.
02 MELINE
MELINE® specialises in the treatment of hyperpigmentation. It acts at the cell level, going to the root of the pathology.
By regulating the uncontrolled growth of melanocytes, the products not only eradicate dark patches but also effectively prevent their reappearance.
MELINE® is unique among topical depigmentation treatments on the market because it tackles hyperpigmentation in a specific manner.
03 Microneedling
Microneedling is a non-surgical procedure for facial rejuvenation, designed to improve skin quality through creation of micro-injuries to the dermis and epidermis of the skin. It can be used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, irregular skin surface texture and melasma-type hyperpigmentation. These controlled injuries stimulate the body’s natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. This boost in collagen helps improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and diminish various forms of pigmentation, including hyperpigmentation, melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
By promoting the turnover of skin cells and encouraging the formation of new, healthy tissue, microneedling effectively reduces the appearance of dark spots and evens out skin tone. The tiny channels created during the procedure also enhance the absorption of topical treatments, such as vitamin C serums and other skin-lightening agents, making them more effective in targeting pigmentation issues. Over time, with regular sessions, microneedling can lead to a brighter, more uniform complexion, offering a safe and effective solution for managing skin pigmentation concerns.
04 Obagi Blue Peel & Nu-Derm skincare?
The Obagi Blue Peel and Nu-Derm Skincare System is designed to treat hyperpigmentation (including melasma), uneven skin tone, age spots and other forms of skin discolouration. It can also help smooth rough skin texture and address other signs of skin ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles.
05 Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy involves nano-injections of an infusion of savvy ingredients to nourish and refresh skin. It stimulates the production of dermal collagen and elastin to brighten and rejuvenate, which helps decrease pigmentation.
By delivering ingredients like vitamin C, kojic acid and glutathione directly into the skin, mesotherapy can lighten dark spots, even out skin tone and promote a brighter complexion. The treatment also stimulates collagen production and enhances skin hydration, leading to overall skin rejuvenation. Mesotherapy is particularly beneficial for those seeking a minimally invasive solution with minimal downtime, providing gradual but noticeable improvements in pigmentation and skin clarity over multiple sessions.
Enlarged Pores Treatments
What are Enlarged Pores?
Enlarged pores present as small dots on your skin. There may even be blackheads within the pores, as dirt, bacteria and oil become trapped and cause them to appear larger and more visible.
But what causes enlarged pores? Ageing is one factor, as skin loses its elasticity over time, which can cause it to stretch and pores to appear bigger. Overexposure to the sun can also lead to larger pores, and those who are acne-prone may find that their pores are more likely to become clogged, which can cause them to enlarge. Products such as make-up and creams can easily become trapped in the pores too.
Factors like gender, age and genetics play a role in your natural predisposition to enlarged pores. Some ethnicities tend to be more prone, especially as they age. Similarly, hormonal fluctuations around menstruation and ovulation can cause pore size to change.
However, enlarged pores can affect anyone, of any age. Get in touch to discover how we can treat enlarged pores and improve the appearance of your skin.
Enlarged Pores Treatments
Enlarged pores are a common condition that can be caused by several factors, including sun exposure and loss of collagen in the skin. However, these pores can be treated to improve the overall appearance of the skin.
01 The Chemical Peel™
The Chemical Peel™ helps treat enlarged pores by combining several potent ingredients to transform your skin, resulting in a rejuvenated, healthier, and clearer complexion.
This facial treatment harnesses powerful ingredients to deeply exfoliate, reduce wrinkles and pore size, and correct pigmentation.
The Chemical Peel™ improves the overall tone and texture of the skin. It lightens and brightens the complexion while reducing the appearance of pores. It also softens fine lines and wrinkles and stimulates collagen production, resulting in firmer, younger-looking skin. The treatment is suitable for all skin types.
It is also highly effective in reducing and removing hyperpigmentation and vascular lesions, including redness, spider veins, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (e.g. post-acne), and sun damage. This popular anti-ageing treatment produces visible results after just 1 to 2 sessions.
02 Microneedling
Enlarged pores can be reduced with microneedling, a non-surgical procedure for facial rejuvenation. This treatment improves skin quality by creating micro-injuries to the dermis and epidermis. Microneedling is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, such as smile lines, by increasing elastin levels in the skin, leading to skin tightening and improved flexibility.
03 Venus Viva Resurfacing
Venus Viva™ is a skin resurfacing treatment designed to address various skin concerns, including acne scars, fine lines, deep wrinkles, rosacea, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, and hyperpigmentation. It combines aspects of microneedling and laser resurfacing, making it a versatile option for skin rejuvenation. It is safe for all skin tones and types, including darker complexions.
The treatment utilises NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) technology, which uses a handheld device with tiny pins to create micro-dermal wounds in the skin. This stimulates the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen production and new cell growth. The result is smoother, firmer skin with improved texture and appearance.
Rosacea & Redness Treatments
What is Rosacea?
The skin condition rosacea most commonly affects the face and is characterised by redness and facial flushing, small bumps on the skin including pus-filled bumps, and very small but visible blood vessels. The skin can feel hot and the eyes may become dry and irritated. Although less common, rosacea can also cause the skin to thicken on the nose. This is known as rhinophyma and is more common in men than in women.
Some of the symptoms of rosacea may flare up for weeks or months before disappearing for a while.
Although the root cause of rosacea is still being investigated, genetics is thought to play a role, and issues with blood vessels can also trigger redness and flushing.
There are several factors that can contribute to a rosacea flare-up, including spicy food, stress, extreme temperatures, alcohol, and certain skincare products. Some people are more susceptible to rosacea, including those with fair skin, adults between the ages of 30 and 50, and women going through hormonal changes associated with menopause or pregnancy. Despite this, rosacea can affect anyone.
Whilst lifestyle changes can help to lessen the impact of rosacea, there are also treatments available to help manage the condition. Get in touch to find out what we offer.
01 Exosome Therapy
Our Exosome Therapy offers a revolutionary approach to managing rosacea. These tiny extracellular vesicles, derived from stem cells, possess potent anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties. Exosomes precisely target and modulate the underlying causes of rosacea, reducing redness, inflammation, and visible blood vessels. By delivering therapeutic molecules directly to affected skin cells, exosomes promote healing, restore skin barrier function, and alleviate symptoms without the side effects associated with traditional medications.
02 Venus Versa IPL
Venus Versa IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) can be used to treat rosacea. This advanced light-based therapy targets the excessive blood vessels and pigmentation responsible for rosacea symptoms. The intense pulses of broad-spectrum light penetrate the skin and are absorbed by the haemoglobin in the dilated blood vessels, causing them to constrict and eventually disappear.
Additionally, Venus Versa IPL helps reduce inflammation and redness by inhibiting the production of inflammatory agents. With its precise and controlled delivery, this treatment (we usually advise about 4 sessions for optimal results) provides long-lasting improvement in rosacea symptoms without downtime or significant side effects.
03 INNO-EXFO® Redness Peel + INNO-TDS® Redness-ID
INNOESTHETIC’s medical treatments and specific product plan promote skin resistance and stimulate the defence and reparative mechanisms of the skin barrier. Moreover, they deeply moisturise and balance vascular irregularities to reduce skin burning sensations. Therefore, they effectively reduce vascular spiders and erythema and prevent inflammation.
04 Dermapen 4 Microneedling
Dermapen treatments can successfully minimise the appearance of common symptoms by normalising the formation of blood vessels (known as angiogenesis) and releasing regulatory growth factors. Dermapen treatments also increase the integrity of the two layers of the skin (dermis and epidermis), improving density and resilience. Redness becomes visibly reduced, and the complexion feels more balanced and less reactive.
Dry Skin Treatments
What is Dry Skin?
Dry skin can occur on various parts of the body; however, it’s common on the face, hands, and legs. The skin may feel rough and itchy, and it might even start to flake. A lack of moisture is the main cause of dry skin, and some people may be more susceptible than others.
Certain skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis can cause extremely dry skin. Additionally, some skin types, such as those that produce less oil, may also be more prone to dryness.
Environmental factors can also have a significant impact on how dry skin feels. If you work in an office with air conditioning, or sit at home with the heating on high, dry skin is more likely.
Harsh weather conditions such as wind and cold temperatures can affect the skin’s moisture, as can hot water.
Age can be a major contributor to dry skin, as ageing often results in less oil production, which then leads to dryness as well as thinner, weaker skin.
If you’re undergoing medical treatments such as chemotherapy, dry skin could also arise as a side effect.

03 Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is highly adept at treating dry skin in a short period with no downtime. It is a microinjection treatment that uses a cocktail of vitamins, micronutrients, antioxidants, and deeply hydrating hyaluronic acid into the dermo-epidermal junction of the skin. Developed in the 1970s in France, this treatment has long been a cult favourite of the chicest skin enthusiasts due to its low downtime and effective results.
04 INNO-EXFO® Xeroskin Peel + INNO-TDS® Xeroskin-ID
A set of products including in-office professional solutions and at-home skincare items to deeply moisturise the skin.
It is a two-step soft chemical peel specifically designed to moisturise and improve the condition of dry skin. First, Step 1 exfoliates dead cells, removing flaky skin, and prepares the skin to better absorb the ingredients in Step 2, optimising their effects.
Step 2 then restores the moisture levels of the skin and, most importantly, repairs the acid mantle, which helps to prevent skin dryness in the long term.
Following this, a Transdermal solution is used to deeply moisturise the skin from within, also improving elasticity, firmness, and glow. This potent formula strengthens both the hydrolipid mantle and the skin barrier, thus enhancing skin defences and preventing dehydration. Its highly moisturising properties plump the skin immediately, leaving a much younger-looking and more attractive appearance.
Acne & Breakouts Treatment
Acne
Acne skin is often the result of overly active oil (sebaceous) glands and hormonal imbalance.
Excess oil (sebum) becomes trapped in the pores along with dead skin cells and debris, which can lead to painful inflammation and increase the risk of bacterial proliferation.
There are two types of acne: non-inflammatory and inflammatory. Non-inflammatory acne includes blackheads, which are open clogged pores appearing as small black dots, and whiteheads, which are closed clogged pores that look like white bumps. Inflammatory acne includes papules, which form when bacteria cause pore walls to break, and pustules, which are pimples containing pus, giving them a milky appearance.
Nodules are deeper, larger lumps, while cysts are painful, pus-filled lumps that can result in scarring.
01 INNO-EXFO®AKN Peel + INNO-TDS®AKN-ID
Chemical peel for acne has a mild exfoliating action that helps regulate and normalise sebum production. It also prevents and reduces inflammation, while restoring the skin’s pH balance and moisture levels.
These effects are essential for preventing breakouts and improving the condition of acne-prone skin. The result is healthier-looking skin, with fewer imperfections, and softer to the touch. The INNO-TDS®AKN-ID solution treats comedones and papules and helps prevent their recurrence.
The ingredients in this solution work in synergy to restore skin balance. Its antimicrobial and antibacterial properties inhibit the action of P. acnes bacteria and prevent inflammation. It visibly reduces skin imperfections, helping to clear acne and improve skin texture and appearance.
02 Dermapen 4 Microneedling
Microneedling is a revolutionary skin procedure transforming the skin and lives of people who have been battling acne. A Dermapen Treatment for acne takes the microneedling experience to a whole new level.
Advanced microneedling technology infuses the right combination of restorative actives from Dp Dermaceuticals into the skin. At the same time, it improves co-existing skin concerns such as acne scars, rosacea, enlarged pores, and hyperpigmentation.

The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is one of the most popular chemical peels available and can improve your skin’s look, texture, and feel in a matter of minutes. It is a non-invasive pharmaceutical-grade treatment designed to address skin concerns.
The Obagi peel is a gentle peel that works on the surface of the skin to improve the appearance of acne scars, lines and wrinkles, sun spots, rough skin, uneven skin tone, blemishes, and photoaging.
