Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections are a non-surgical solution to minimise and reduce stubborn pockets of localised fat that, even with diet and exercise, cannot be shifted. It is a suitable treatment for areas around the face or body, wherever fat gathers.
The Aqualyx treatment is a fat-dissolving injection that works by liquefying fat cells and destroying them permanently. The broken-down cells are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system.
Target Areas
Aqualyx is used to target small pockets of fat, and a wide number of areas can be treated with Aqualyx fat-dissolving injections:
Double chin.
Back fat – bra back fat.
Arm fat (bingo wings).
Stomach – for both fat and definition.
Love handles.
Flanks and waist.
Inner and outer thighs.
Area under the buttocks.
Fat knees (fat above the knee).
The Aqualyx Process
After an initial consultation, a course of treatments will be agreed, this will normally require 2 to 3 treatments for an effective reduction of fat to the area, although visible results are normally evidenced even after the first treatment. The number of injections administered per session will vary dependent on the size of the area to be treated.
After the treatment you may experience some swelling, tenderness and discoloration of the skin for up to 7 to 10 days.
After a period of approximately 4 weeks a further treatment will be scheduled for the next set of injections.
Things to Know
Aqualyx Fat Dissolving Injections are not a weight loss solution and is not suitable for those pregnant or breastfeeding, immunocompromised including type 1 diabetes and not suffering from any skin diseases or infections in the areas to be treated.
